“Counsels of Perfection for the Christian Mother”-Fr. Lejune

My husband and I were unpacking and inevitably sorting through our books trying (again) to make all of our books fit onto two bookshelves. My dear husband picked up Fr. Lejune’s Counsels of Perfection For Christian Mothers and innocently asked, “Keep or pitch?” Eve (that’s the wicked me) immediately answered, “Pitch dear.” Suddenly overcome with remorse, I retrieved my tattered, scribbled on and stained book from the garbage with my head hung low, knowing that I couldn’t let it go… at least, not yet!!!!
